Head of Art in a Specialist Art School for many years, successfully leading GCSE and Vocational Art courses with a pass rate of 86% and over.
Advanced Skills Teacher specializing in whole school assessment and ICT across the Curriculum, Experienced leader of whole school coaching and mentoring, supporting teachers and improving learning.
Teacher of art full time in Key Stage 2 for four years.
Also hosts teacher training courses for Osiris Education and Creative Education.
Previously a freelance adviser since 2009 having worked for LEA’s in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Durham, Redcar & Teesside, also worked in York, Italy, Canada and Bermuda!
I’m passionate about teaching & learning and I've lectured on new learning techniques at the InSEA congress in Canterbury in 2013 and at events for the North East Art Teacher Network at the Baltic Gallery.
