Global Climate Change Project

Calling young people all over the world to get creative and help stop climate change

www.coolitschools.com is an online global climate change project for all schools and institutions working with young people. Aimed specifically at teachers and project leaders, you can now register for free on the website and get your own online showcase where it is easy to upload and exhibit participants’ projects. The website is full of information on climate change, including 'suggested topics', put together with the help of the Royal Society's own climate team. There are also 'off the peg' project ideas that teachers can adapt for their pupils use. Cool it Schools aims to take highlights from the showcases and present them as a film at COP15 in December and other International venues. Cool it Schools will form an archive of children's ideas and feelings about climate change, creating a global bond between schools. Cool it schools is now available to be used as an educational resource in classrooms around the world.
