Ofqual are reviewing the case for controlled assessment on a subject-by-subject basis. As part of this review a call for evidence has been issued which focusses on: the effectiveness of controlled assessment in assessing subject-related skills; comments or concerns encountered regarding the impact of controlled assessments on student learning.
The outcome of the full review will be reported in the autumn.
We encourage members to send individual responses but NSEAD will be reporting on behalf of members. Responses must be received by 4pm on Thursday, 12 July 2012.
