Aesthetic Education through Mythological and Religious Themes

Volume 17.2   1998

During a so-called 'transitional' epoch a study which combined historical research into images and media was combined with self knowledge through a form of national awareness. This Romanian art study proposed a way of understanding the history of civilisation through a universal language - the language of the image. This we think is the most direct way of understanding man and history - the temporal and the qualitative, and perhaps offering a reply to the perennial question of who are we, where do we come from, and where are we going.
