The National Society for Education in Art and Design is the leading national authority
concerned with art, craft and design across all phases of education in the United Kingdom. NSEAD's origins can
be traced to 1888, when a group of art school principals recognised the need to raise the standard of art teaching
and improve the status of art teachers. Today our principal aim is to inspire outstanding art, craft and design
education in the UK and beyond. Any sums donated or legacies left to NSEAD will enable the Society to achieve its aims.
NSEAD is not a registered charity instead we rely on donations, fundraising and subscriptions.
