Thea works with NSEAD to develop lesson resources for their new art curriculum created in partnership with Oak National Academy.

She is a passionate artist teacher, mother, and lover of gardening and swimming. In her free time, she is at her happiest playing with clay on the wheel.

Equipped with a BA in Visual Communication and an MA in Arts Practice and Education, alongside experience as a classroom teacher, moderator and head of department, Thea is driven to create opportunities for playful experimentation and encourage students to engage with diverse materials and processes. She champions art as a subject that should be accessible to all and strives to cultivate an inclusive environment where students feel empowered. She is certain of the vital power of art education to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and to support wellbeing.
