Special interest groups

Back

Special interest groups (SIGs) are formed by NSEAD members to address a time-specific issue faced by our subject and our educators. Each SIG, led by a chair, comes together for a set period of time with a specific action plan and focussed remit.

We currently have SIGs for Initial Teacher Education and Design in Art and Design. Members of both Council and Forum are helping NSEAD to build new and emerging SIGs – each will address one pressing issue in art, craft and design education.

If you are an NSEAD member and have expertise that you would like to share, and would be interested in getting involved in our work, please contact sophieleach@nsead.org
