The Gender and Inclusion SIG will be reformed in 2021-22. It will aim to address the growing gender divide in art and design. Specifically in 2017-18, it was able to identify ad evidence trends for both participation and achievement. Findings have been published in two gender and inclusion AD magazines.

This SIG was initially led by Sophie Leach (deputy general secretary). Members of NSEAD Forum and Council helped to source and scrutinise data. This includes a former president Susan Coles and vice-president Patricia Brown.
