Floriane Fidegnon is a manufacturing engineer with experience in industrial policy
She was previously Head of Industry, Technology and Innovation team at Policy Connect, and oversaw the policy work for 3 All Party Parliamentary Groups: Manufacturing, Design and Data Analytics as well as a manufacturing research commission. She is currently also a member of the UK Manufacturing Symbiosis network plus advisory board, Transforming Foundation Industries network plus advisory board and the Make UK equalities working group.
Floriane has a BEng in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Warwick. She then worked for GSK within their respiratory supply chain as an industrial placement engineer.
Her past experiences include founding and directing the Warwick Women’s Engineering Society, a Royal Academy of Engineering Future Leaders Scholar, a Stemettes alumna and as a freelance policy consultant and science communicator. Floriane has worked with various organisations promoting Diversity & Inclusion across the STEM sector since 2013. In 2020, she was presented with the Equal Engineers 2020 Student of the Year award.
