Primary Teacher with Art Specialism wanted for London School

Governors of Bigland Green School are seeking to recruit a qualified teacher preferably with a specialism in primary art & design to teach across KS1 and KS2.

The post, which can be full or part time,  is also open to teachers with a strong passion for the subject who have the necessary skills and drive.

The successful candidate will be a strong practitioner for teaching and learning, and a strong team player. Candidates must have recent experience in teaching art & design or be an ECT with a specialism in the subject. They will take initiatives where necessary and be driven by the school’s mission to increase children’s life chances through high quality education. The successful candidate can negotiate a TLR and be part of the school’s curriculum leadership team.

Full-time applicants will teach art & design in the afternoons and provide support for core subjects in the morning in a Year group (playing to their strength). Part-time will involve teaching art & design on five afternoons (0.5 FTE).
