The Petersfield School (TPS) are looking for a dynamic, passionate, well-qualified Visual Arts teacher to join their outstanding Visual Arts Department. TPS has a strong heritage in the arts and the ambitious, forward thinking art department has excellent facilities for students to engage with a wide range of practical applications.
The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to inspire students to explore ideas and concepts, awakening their curiosity about the visual arts. You will be able to teach across the age and ability range. The Visual Arts department delivers courses in Fine Art and Photography, so experience in any of these areas would be desirable although for the right candidate, teachers with other specialisms would be considered. This position would suit ECTs or more experienced teachers.
