Back

This is a film of the Anti-Racist Art Education Conversations and Actions Panel Discussion held in Dec 2021. The panel included: Marlene Wylie President-elect of NSEAD; Emily Gopaul, Artist, subject leader and education consultant; Dianne Minnicucci teacher and subject leader of photography; and Dr Clare Stanhope, art and design subject leader and researcher.

In the film, artist, leading educator and author Dr Paul Dash (Chair) and members of the NSEAD Anti-Racist Art Education Action (ARAEA) Group leads a panel discussion to explore how art educators can actively challenge racism in education to ensure equity for all. Whether you are starting your Anti-Racist art education journey or already committed to anti-racist actions, this film will help you to decolonise the art curriculum and to drive equity in art, craft and design education.
