Jason Forrest

Jason Forrest is the Student Partnership Manager for Camberwell, Chelsea, and Wimbledon Colleges (CCW) at the University of the Arts London (UAL). He focuses on strategic partnerships that enhance the student voice and promote belonging, community and employability, in line with the 2010 Equality Act to support students in the creative industries. Previously, he was the curriculum developer for Climate, Racial and Social Justice at UAL CCW, helping course teams integrate these principles through modification and validation processes and student initiatives.

He has lectured at the Fashion Retail Academy in London and served as a senior lecturer in Fashion Communication and Promotion at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). His work on a 20-credit module, in conjunction with Blueprint for all, has become an annual student competition entitled 'Creative Changemakers'. As the course leader for the BA in Fashion Marketing and Communication at the University of East London (UEL), he focused on social justice in curriculum design, and restructured and stabilised this underperforming programme securing industry partnerships to leverage students’ employability and improving recruitment conversion for prospective students.

His leadership in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at UEL contributed to earning the Athena Swan Silver Award in 2024. Currently, Jason is pursuing an MA in Academic Practice at UAL, focusing on the Southern African philosophy of Ubuntu as a leadership model for creative education. He co-curated a multi strand public programme as part of the Black History Month at UAL. He is also a co-opted council member at NSEAD and an active member of UBAE.
