From Year 6 to Art Foundation Level, Toby Saville has been very fortunate to work alongside some outstanding and inspirational colleagues in diverse educational settings. Everyday he goes the extra mile to provide the very best creative learning experiences for young artists.
Toby has taught full-time for six years at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge, and is Course Leader for A Level Art – a privilege and inspiration.
He relishes opportunities to contribute to wider conversations about art and design education, and currently this means working as an NSEAD Council Member, APPG for Education in Art, Craft & Design, and as a contributing member of Access Art. His role as an A Level Art & Design Moderator extends his professional knowledge and understanding.
Being a practising artist is hugely important for Toby; this results in ambitious abstract paintings, dynamic drawings, painterly photography, occasional 3D constructions and darkroom experiments.
