The NSEAD Archive is housed at our offices in Corsham, Wiltshire; the catalogue includes an extensive document, library and magazine collection.
_____
The Documents section of the NSEAD archive contains more than a quarter of a million pages to reference. It contains the records of not only the formation of NSEAD but also the records of a number of other societies and guilds that have chosen to merge with us over the last 140+ years. We hope that you enjoy and are amazed by the history of art education provided here.
The Library section of the archive contains almost 1,000 publications, ordered by year date to allow the user to link the contents to the Document Archive. All publications listed are in the ownership of NSEAD as a result of mergers of organisations, or through gifts of collections from members, or through purchases made by the Society for the benefit of members.
This section of the catalogue covers the magazine collection held by the Society but not listed in the Library section. It therefore includes some early records of ATHENE, from the NSEAD, and from other organisations engaged with art education.
