Community Luminary Award

This award celebrates outstanding art educators who have made a significant impact on the arts education community, whether locally, nationally, or internationally.

The successful nominee will demonstrate an exceptional contribution to arts education through their professional practice, innovation, and outreach.

 

Who can enter?

The awards are open to all active NSEAD members including anyone working in early years settings, schools, MATs, trusts, partnerships, FE colleges, artist educators and museum & gallery learning teams.

 

The judges are especially looking for evidence of:

  • Meaningful contributions that have advanced arts education locally, nationally, or internationally
  • Innovation, creativity, and effectiveness in teaching, leadership, or programme development
  • Proven ability to inspire, connect, and collaborate with students, educators, and the wider community

Nominations open 3 November 2025.
