Join Emily Gopaul and members of the NSEAD creator team for a series of focused conversations exploring key questions and themes within the art and design curriculum.
Each 30-minute session offers insights into the thinking behind the resources, along with practical guidance on how to use them effectively in your teaching.
About this session:
In this session, Emily is joined by Stephanie Cubbin and Laura Mayes to explore how art and design lessons can support different modes of thinking.
They will share and discuss some of their favourite lessons from the NSEAD resources, reflecting on how these activities encourage both divergent and convergent outcomes in student work. The conversation will highlight how lesson structures can nurture a range of thinking skills, including creative and critical thinking, while supporting varied learning approaches within the classroom.
Participants will gain practical insight into how these lessons can be adapted to engage different learners and foster deeper thinking through art and design practice.
