Crafts School: Yinka's Challenge

The Crafts Council are collaborating with craft and design superstar Yinka Ilori. Crafts School aims to encourage students in Key Stages 1 to 4 (ages 5-16) from across the UK to expand their knowledge of making, and to develop their inner craftsperson through exploring themes of Play, Storytelling and Empowerment.

A Head, Heart and hands Utopia for Education
NSEAD is delighted to be a partner of the Crafts School. An edited version of Michele Gregson's Crafts School keynote speech, given at the launch of Yinka's Challenge in July 2021, is now available here. The article was first published in AD magazine, issue 32. Michele's speech is a rallying and wonderful call to action – she explains why NSEAD is proudly supporting Yinka's Challenge and why the head, heart and hands model is a utopia for education.
