NSEAD has responded to Ofsted's Consultation on the new framework for inspections, representing our members across a wide range of phases and sectors in England. Thank you to everyone who has contacted us to share their views.
We have answered Ofsted's overarching question: What does quality education in our subject look like, and how will school leaders, politicians and Ofsted inspectors recognise it when they see it?
Our six-page response therefore considers in detail the introduction of the 'quality of education judgement' and also the impact on art and design for the 'Separation of judgements'. We have also responded to proposal 6, the 'Non-statutory internal progress and attainment data' and to key areas in the proposed 'Draft School Inspection handbook'
