Last weekend, NSEAD Council convened for a day of celebration as well as the important work of governance and advocacy for our subject.

Past Presidents & Senior Fellows, 27 September 2025: Ged Gast, Marlene Wylie, John Childs, Andy Ash (NSEAD President), Peter Gregory, Liz McFarlane, Rachel Payne & Andrew Mutter.
As NSEAD President Andy Ash said in his welcome, it was 'a moment of reflection, recognition, and reaffirmation of the values that bind us together... celebrating not only our individual achievements but the collective strength of NSEAD - past, present, and future.’
The meeting began with a celebration of our four most recent Past Presidents: Marlene Wylie, Liz McFarlane, Rachel Payne and Peter Gregory, who each received medals commemorating their term in office, and unique and special contribution to the society.

Marlene, Liz, Rachel and Peter were then joined by fellow Past Presidents Andrew Mutter, Ged Gast and John Childs to be awarded our first NSEAD Senior Fellowships. This new title has been created to celebrate service, commitment and dedication to NSEAD.
As Andy Ash said, ‘The title of Senior Fellow is not given lightly. It is a recognition of years of hard work, leadership, and loyalty to the Society and to the wider community we serve. It is an honour you have truly earned, and one that reflects the respect we hold for you as individuals and as a collective of past presidents.’
