Oak Primary and Secondary Subject Reviewer
Aletia Aston-Soards is a learner, art educator and advocate of the Arts. Originating from London she has experience of working in Asia and the UK and strives to reflect an international perspective in her teaching. With almost 20 years of experience in both Primary and Secondary art education, Aletia enjoys teaching a wide range of ages and brings expertise to support the creation of a diverse, purposeful and balanced curriculum. In her freelance role at Oak National Academy, Aletia reviewed the subject and pedagogical elements of the Primary and Secondary art curriculum packages. She worked in collaboration with Emily Gopaul and a team of creators, to achieve consistency, sequential development and to ensure high-quality standards.
