Artist Educator (North West)
Kath is an Artist Teacher Researcher, Associate Artist at Stockport Jewellery School and Visiting Moderator for Pearson. She is currently working as the Head of Art at a secondary school in Manchester teaching KS3 to KS5. Kath is an OTT and has worked in the UK since 2004.
Kath’s research explores the intersectionality of artist teacher identities and how art impacts the sense of belonging in educational settings. She completed her Artist Teacher Practitioner Masters at Oxford Brookes University in 2024, having work published in AD magazine.
When she is not doing all of these roles, you can find her on the Underbanks in Stockport in the studio making work from metal, paper or fabric.
