Our regional groups bring support, training and inspiring opportunities directly to your doorstep. Whether you want to share good practice, attend a local workshop or symposium, or simply build a strong professional and social community, your regional group is here to help.

Every regional group is unique to its community. Depending on your area, groups may focus on specific phases – from Early Years and Primary to Secondary and Post-16 – or host joint cross-phase meetings. Gathering places vary too, with sessions held in local schools, or in museums and galleries who provide an expertise and focus on local collections and exhibitions.

‘I’m always intrigued and uplifted – professionally and personally – after attending an NSEAD regional networking meeting... Not only do these events bring together colleagues with a passion for the enriching power of art education, I also get to chat with knowledgeable and experienced teachers who generously offer me tips on how to meet the challenges I face in my current role and within the (underfunded) context of adult art and craft education.’
