NSEAD members will be saddened to hear about the sudden death of Professor Stuart MacDonald OBE in Glasgow in early June 2016.
Stuart MacDonald was former senior art and design adviser with Strathclyde Regional Council and founding Director of The Lighthouse, Scotland’s Centre for Architecture, Design and the City from 1998-2006. He was Head of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and in retirement Emeritus Professor of the Creative Industries at The Robert Gordon University. Stuart’s contribution to the work of the Society was considerable, to include a seat on Council and the Editorial Board of IJADE. A full obituary will shortly be available in iJADE.
