NSEAD reviews next steps for Trade Union members

Further to the results of the various education unions' ballots in the past week, NSEAD is reviewing our next steps and considering all options. The picture has clearly shifted since the NSEAD indicative ballot last October.

As a specialist trade union, serving the needs of a minority group, a vote for meaningful strike action presents a real challenge for our members. NSEAD have consistently called for a fully co-ordinated campaign of action, however this is extremely difficult in practice and the dominant Trade Unions have not opted to work together on a co-ordinated response.

We want to reassure our members that we are taking their concerns into account and will be acting accordingly.

Members: Please look out for a very important email which will be sent in the coming days with crucial instructions for you to act upon.

Also, we are holding a Trade Union online meeting on Monday for our members and we hope to see as many there as possible there.
