With Saied Dai & Charlotte Sorapure | 29 August – 11 September 2026
The drawing programme is designed to foster intelligent self-critical awareness and objectivity by focusing on fundamental principles rather than on cultivating opinions, styles and mannerisms.
Ultimately, this course encourages you to apply these principles and attitudes to your parallel studies and integrate them with your own work. It will help in the journey of individuals to ‘become a light unto themselves’.
The colour course will help to dispel some of the myths and misconceptions about the subject, whilst deepening your understanding of colour organisation and its practical application. The aim is to advance its long-term potential as a vehicle for creative expression.
The benefits of a structured and focused approach can paradoxically help an intuitive student reach out with insight and feeling towards the imponderables of this subject, discovering its expressive force, with the enigma of their own feelings as a principal guide.
Saied and Charlotte both trained at The Royal Academy of Arts in London, and have exhibited widely in this country and abroad.
Join them for two inspiring and transformative workshops on the beautiful Rignana Estate in Tuscany. Includes full board, lodging, and our studio will be a Renaissance Chapel... with pool and tennis courts for relaxation at the end of the day. Partners are welcome.
The workshops run from 29 August – 5 September (Drawing from Life) and 5 – 11 September (The Poetry of Colour).
