Draw a design on white paper with a crayon, colour the design with fabric crayons, use as much pressure as possible.
It can be helpful to remove the paper coverings from the crayons and break them into small pieces. Remove any loose crayon specks and place the paper design face down on synthetic cloth under which is an ironing pad of several layers of kitchen paper.
Set the iron on a cotton setting and allow it to heat up. Apply the iron to the design, pressing firmly for about thirty seconds. Lift up the iron to move to other areas of the design, dragging the iron can cause the design to smudge.
